Setting Goals: Embracing the Journey and Celebrating Wins

My friend, imagine a time when even lifting a cup of coffee felt like a challenge.
That was my reality.

I couldn’t play with my grandkids the way I wanted to. Even daily tasks felt exhausting. But something inside me refused to settle. I knew I was meant for more—and that meant setting a goal that would move me toward strength and freedom.

So I found a coach. My first goal? Rebuild my core. Sure, I hoped the weight would melt off too, but it was that deep, stabilizing strength I was truly after. I set a target of five gym visits a week… and let me tell you, even showing up three times was hard at first.

“Real transformation starts with the courage to try again.”

But I didn’t quit.
I added accountability. I found women willing to walk the journey with me. We showed up for ourselves—and each other. Eventually, I was going almost daily. Not for the scale, but for my soul.

The result? Not the number I expected—but the strength I needed. Core stability. Balance. Energy. And joy.

Now 10 years later I am still reaping the benefits of that focus on core strength.

Goals aren't just about the outcome—they’re about who we become along the way.
So what’s your next goal?
